FAQs

General

    1. Applicants are required to submit applications by Friday, January 31st at 4 PM.

    2. Application decisions will come out that same night, with sign-ups for group interviews (the next day, Saturday, February 1st) becoming available for those who move forward.

    3. Applicants moving onto the next round will be contacted the same day and provided sign-ups for individual interview time slots.

    4. Final round applicants are invited to a Meet and Greet round for 180 members to better acquaint themselves with interviewees.

    5. Final decisions released shortly after the conclusion of the meet and greet round.

  • Time commitment for a new member is 12-15 hours per week. New members are assigned client facing projects and attend professional development training for 2 hours a week. Socially, new members are encouraged to attend all events as the social connections formed with other club members bring out the best in our organization.

  • Our projects are structured to have two project managers, 4-5 consultants, and 1-2 senior advisors. Project Managers source and lead the project. Senior consultants are returning consultants that aid Project Managers. Senior Advisors are older members of the club with project experience who help guide the projects.

Application + interviews

    • A passion for social impact is something that we weigh heavily when considering applicants because this is something that inherently ties our members together.

    • If you don’t have much experience, we recommend that you clearly articulate your passion and how you plan to take steps toward achieving goals related to that passion.

  • There is no specific format we require for the resume to be in. However, we recommend that you list out your experiences clearly— highlighting what you accomplished, your learnings, tangible skills, and impact.

  • Yes. We ask for all applications to be submitted fully blind— meaning we do not want any identification information on any aspect of your application (ex: name, photo, address, phone number, etc.). Failure to blind could lead to applications being thrown out.

  • While formal clothing is encouraged for interview rounds, this dress code is NOT a requirement.

  • If you move on to the interview round, reply to the email immediately, and we can discuss how to accommodate your situation.

Recruitment Events

    • Coffee chats are more of an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have and get to know us in a more personal setting.

    • Feel free to do as many coffee chats as you want to get to know our members, but please keep in mind that each person is only allowed to coffee chat one exec member each.

    • We highly recommend attending at least one of our info sessions as it ensures that we’re the right choice for you.

    • The case workshop is also super helpful because if you’re new to casing, we give a comprehensive overview of what to expect from our cases. We also walk you through one of our actual interview cases from a past semester to give you some hands-on experience.

    • Ultimately, demonstrated interest is considered in part during the deliberation process.

    • We do not holistically grade the meet and greet round. This round is primarily for everyone to get to know one another in a less formal setting, so hopefully you can relax and have fun!

    • We understand that the whole recruitment process is very intense and stressful, but please understand that it is not our intention to evaluate you based on your ability to ‘perform’ in a social setting.
